FTM Assets Not Displaying – Multichain
Multichain bridged assets are disabled on the Squidrouter interface. Multichain suffered a major bridge exploit previously, and all tokens brought over this bridge are unbacked.
As such, Squid has permanently disabled the ability to trade or bridge with these tokens
To find out if the version of token you have is from the Multichain bridge, you can view your address on an explorer
Using FTM scan, you can click the token in question and view the bridge contract
How to trade out of Multichain tokens
As of the time of writing this article, the Spookyswap v2 interface still allows the trading of these tokens
The price feed for this app is NOT ACCURATE – when performing a swap, pay attention to the token values, not the dollar amount
Most _MULTI assets are trading at a -90% to -99% value to the native tokens.
