Fix a pending Squidrouter transfer

When using Squidrouter, you’ll see an estimated time for swaps, typically up to an hour, based on the number of hops. If your transfer remains pending after a couple of hours or you want to check its status, you can usually verify it on Axelarscan.

1. Lookup transaction on Axelarscan.io

The easiest way to find your transaction status is by pasting the transaction hash on the search bar which is located at the top right on Axelarscan

You can enter any transaction hash associated with the transfer into the search box and Axelarscan will resolve it to the complete swap showing the current status

2. Check transaction status

The transfer overview contains all important information for you to check the swap status. If your transaction is stuck the frontend will show you that and provide a way to resolve the issue. See the next section for a more in depth explanation.

3. Resolve issue

If Axelarscan shows a recovery field it means that the transfer is currently stuck due to various (potential) issues. In many cases you can press the Approve or Recover button which will show up and it will resubmit the transaction and it usually completes then.

If the transaction encounters an issue due to insufficient fees, an “Insufficient fee” error will be displayed (refer to the second screenshot). In this case, you can connect your wallet and pay the gas fee.
Axelarscan won’t show the required amount before opening the signature request. Make sure to double check the transction and amount before signing.
