Deposit USDC – Solana to Osmosis
You may have trouble trading USDC sent to Osmosis from Solana over certain bridges
One of the more popular bridges to bring assets over from Solana is Portal Bridge – However, this version of bridged token has no liquidity on Osmosis and will need to be sent back to Solana
If you have USDC.sol.wh on Osmosis, navigate to Portal Bridge and use the interface to return the funds to Solana
Once the USDC arrives back on Solana, or if you already have USDC on Solana, you can bridge it to Osmosis more effectively using Skip
Skip has an integration with CCTP- Circles native token transfer system. Using skip, the USDC from Solana will arrive as Noble USDC – which is a highly liquid token and will be able to be traded freely on Osmosis
