Alternative Deposit / Transfer Options
If you have a deposit that is continually timing out/refunding, or are having issues initiating a deposit, there are several other alternative deposit or token transfer options to try that may get around the issue
Deposit issues may present in many ways. You could be stuck with a balance loading wheel that never stops spinning, or an error telling you something isn’t working. This may also present as a simple ‘Error: 500’ message, or an indicator about an invalid packet height.
These errors would present themselves before you were able to make a transaction. If you have sent a deposit that isn’t finishing or is stuck pending, please refer to this article about stuck deposits/IBC transfers
Below are some examples of how these issues may present

User Friendly Alternative Options
Some user friendly options you can try for depositing/transferring tokens between chains:
- Skips ‘Skip.go’ page (Previously known as IBC.fun) (This app is also great for transferring tokens to EVM/other chains)
- Squid Router – (Also great for depositing assets to Osmosis and other Cosmos chains from EVM/a multitude of other blockchains)
- TFM Token transfers
In addition to the above options, there are several wallet apps will let you initiate IBC transfers from directly within your wallet extension.
Keplr
To send tokens directly from within Keplr wallet, click your wallet extension and then click the token you want to move

On the next page, click ‘Send’ and then the ‘IBC Send’ option

This will open a list of chains you can send the tokens to. **Remember to always send tokens to their home chain first before trying to send to another chain

Tokens already on their home chains will usually have many different destination options

Leap
For Leap wallet, open your extension and then click the token you want to move

On the next page, select ‘Send’ and then click ‘My Wallets’

This will open a multitude of different chains you will be able to select as a destination. Leap by default will send tokens to their home chains automatically before forwarding, so you don’t have to worry about selecting the ‘Home Chain’ like with Keplr wallet above.

Advanced Option
On occasion, none of the user friendly interfaces may correct the issue. You may also attempt to do an IBC transfer from within Keplr extension, and be met with an empty list of destinations for the token, indicating ‘No Routes Found’

If this is the case, you can manually add a channel to keplr through an ‘Advanced IBC Transfer’
>Please refer to this article here< on a step by step guide to Manual Advanced IBC Transfers. Please note that incorrectly setting channels and token destinations through this method can cause frustration to recover your tokens.
